Soccer Programs (Spring & Fall)
FCA Soccer is built to give every athlete—from first-time players to growing competitors—a fun, encouraging, and development-focused experience.
We offer two seasons each year:
Spring Season: End of March through the end of May
Fall Season: End of August through the end of October
All divisions practice once a week, Monday through Thursday, between 4:30–7:00 PM. Games are played on Saturdays between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
Locations
The 4–5, 6–7, and 8–9-year-old divisions practice and play at Bethel Church in Richland.
The 10–12-year-old division practices and plays at off-campus locations. FCA Sports has partnered with Reata Springs Baptist Church in Richland and Columbia Bible Church in Kennewick to provide fields for this division.
Specific practice and game locations will be communicated to families before the season.
UNIFORMS
Uniforms are provided directly by the league, so families no longer need to order them individually. We carry uniforms in bulk sizing, which means families do not select a uniform size during registration.
Uniforms will be handed out at your team’s practice before the first game.
PRACTICE NIGHT + COACH REQUESTS + TEAMMATE REQUESTS
Due to the size of the league and the complexity of team formation and scheduling, we are unable to accommodate individual practice-night requests.
We understand that every family has a unique schedule, but meeting individual requests is not sustainable at the league level.
Families may submit player or coach requests during registration; however, requests are not guaranteed. Team placement depends on registration numbers, division balance, roster sizes, coaching availability, and scheduling needs. We will consider each request, but we cannot guarantee that every request can be accommodated.
8–9-Year-Old Soccer
4v4 · No Goalies · Size 3 Ball
Our 4–5 division is the perfect introduction to soccer. Athletes play 4v4 with no goalies on a small field with smaller goals, creating a fun, fast-paced environment focused on movement, confidence, and friendships.
Coaches are on the field helping officiate and guiding players through the basics of dribbling, passing, spacing, and teamwork in a low-pressure, high-encouragement setting.
This division gives children the joy of soccer while helping them fall in love with the game.
6–7-Year-Old Soccer
5v5 with Goalies · Size 3 Ball
Our 6–7 division is the next step, introducing team shape, positions, and basic game strategy. Athletes play 5v5 with goalies on a smaller field with smaller goals.
Coaches remain on the field to help officiate, creating a supportive learning environment where players can grow in confidence while continuing to receive hands-on guidance.
This age is all about fundamentals, fun, and teamwork as players begin to understand the flow of the game.
8–9-Year-Old Soccer
7v7 with Goalies · Size 4 Ball
In our 8–9 division, athletes step into a more traditional game format. Teams play 7v7 with goalies on a medium-sized field, giving players more space to run, pass, and learn team shape.
Certified referees officiate the games, helping players transition from instructional soccer to competitive play while continuing to prioritize sportsmanship and growth.
This division helps athletes develop stronger skills, greater game awareness, and increased confidence.
10–12-Year-Old Soccer
9v9 with Goalies · Size 4 Ball
Our 10–12 division provides the largest fields and most complete game experience. Teams play 9v9 with goalies while using more traditional rules and positions.
All games include official referees, giving players a full game-day environment that prepares them for middle school soccer and beyond.
This division emphasizes character, competition, teamwork, and a love for the game.
10–12 Division Location Update and Why
Beginning this season, all 10–12-year-old teams will practice and play at off-campus locations, as communicated during registration.
This organizational decision was made for three important reasons:
Field space continues to be one of our greatest challenges. If you know of available fields or potential facility partners, we would love to hear from you.
Important Information About Divisions
All FCA Soccer divisions are gender-specific. Boys play with boys, and girls play with girls in every age division.
